About Tyler

Hello! My name is Tyler Pellegrino and I am a recent grad from Piedmont University in Demorest, GA. I obtained my BA in Theatre Arts: Technical Theatre & Design in May 2025.

My pronouns are he/him and they/them and I identify as male.

I am originally from Southeast Georgia and graduated from Camden County High School in 2021 with a Fine Arts Seal on my diploma. I was one of the few in my class to be the first to receive this seal at CCHS.

I started working in theatre during the spring of 2018, in my freshman year of high school. Since then, I have wanted to make my work in theatre more than just an after-school activity. 

Although my design focus is in lighting, I do just about anything! I have worked in a scene shop for ~2 years and a costume shop for ~1 year. I have experience ranging from extensive to minor in various areas of theatrical design, set construction, teaching, video editing, writing, special effects & pyrotechnics, and more. I am not limited to this list and am always open to learning new skills & working toward bettering my craft!

During my senior year at Piedmont, I worked part-time at Circle of Hope, a domestic violence shelter in Northeast Georgia, dedicated to providing emergency shelter and other services to survivors of domestic violence. When on longer breaks from school, I worked part-time at Camden House, another domestic violence shelter, located in Southeast Georgia.

As of April of 2025, I am contracted to work for Des Moines Metro Opera in Indianola, Iowa for the Summer 2025 season as a Stage Operations Intern and have accepted an apprenticeship offer from an Atlanta-based theatre, slated to start in August 2025.
